The Derwent Diggers Gardening Club is a social gardening club based in Malton and Norton-on- Derwent (North Yorkshire) and including the surrounding area. The first meeting was held in February 2004. Since then we have met once a month, usually on the first Monday of the month in the Red Cross building in the Wentworth Street car park, Malton. In the summer months we organise visits to gardens of intrest to members - last year this included a demonstration of plant propagation at Helmsley walled gardens. The programme is devised with the members interests in mind and includes invited speakers, demonstrations, quizzes and our very own "Gardeners Questions and Answers" where you can bring gardening questions to the experts.
